High risk drinking and underage
alcohol consumption have concerned parents across the nation for
years. Our panel of experts provides the truth about the dangers
linked to alcohol consumption for teens. The prevalence and incidence
of underage drinking are discussed as well as the ways in which
parents can influence their child’s decisions regarding consumption.

RPCS Alcohol Policy
- The RPCS alcohol policy can be found on pages 9-1011 and 9-1012 of the Red Book school handbook.
- RPCS takes action for all infractions against our alcohol policy whether on or off campus.
- RPCS has a limited immunity or "Good Samaritan" policy related to alcohol use. Please see the handbook for more information.
BAC
- The Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) for anyone under the age of 21 is .02 percent.
Maryland Laws
- Maryland is a ‘Zero Tolerance’ state and anyone driving with any amount of alcohol in his or her system will lose driving privileges for at least 6 months.
- It is unlawful for anyone under 21 to possess or consume alcoholic beverages.
- It is unlawful for anyone under 21 to knowingly and willfully make any misrepresentations or false statement as to his or her age in order to obtain alcoholic beverages.
- It is unlawful for any person to obtain alcoholic beverages for consumption by an individual who is known to be under 21.

families committed to achieving success in both education and recovery. Exists to support such
schools which, as components of the recovery continuum of care, enroll students committed to being
