Presenter - Michael McNeil

Michael McNeil joined Health Services at Columbia in 2006. He is responsible for oversight of the Go Ask Alice! Health Q&A website and numerous other health promotion programs and priorities for the University. Prior to joining HSC, Michael was the Coordinator of the Temple Health Empowerment Office (THEO) and Adjunct Instructor of Public Health at Temple University. He has served as the Chair of the Health Promotion Section for the American College Health Association and is active in numerous other higher education organizations.

Michael was born and spent the first 12 years of his life living outside the US. To date he has lived in 6 countries on 4 continents. Michael holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Central Florida, an MS in Health Education from Florida State University and is currently pursuing his doctorate in higher education leadership.
