Best practices in risk management culled from 30 years of international work with 5000+ educational institutions around the world taught by renowned, top expert who has presented for audiences as diverse as the Final Four and NFL teams to Harvard and Netflix.

Garner policies, procedures, protocols, prevention education, and training especially as they relate to boys and positive masculinity. Proactively address sexual harassment, gender bias, sexual misconduct, and student-educator boundary crossing.

Tackle hot button issues – sexting, intimacy, pornography, consent constructs, stalking, social media, hook-up culture, alcohol, sexual exploitation, gender and sexual identity, and more.

Model Handbook Policies:  Employee and student/family handbook delineations of sexual assault, harassment, stalking, rape, and sexual exploitation, including the distinction between coercion and consent.

Disciplinary Response to Allegations:  Perils of side-taking, liability, rumor mills, publicity, presumptions and retaliation, confidentiality, investigations, hearings, anonymous and 3rd party report, and victimology.

Risk Mitigation and Liability:  Due diligence, “actual notice,” campus climate, consistency, transparency, jurisdiction off campus, and working with “sister” schools.

Media and Communications:  Missteps in media interaction, social media hashtags, defamation, gossip, privacy, and confidentiality.

Data-Supported Effective Training:  Developmentally appropriate education from age 5-21, professional development, parent engagement and education, peer education, advisor training, climate surveys and boundary training.

Session #2 – November 3, 2021: Policies – Handbook Essentials on Professional Boundaries and Sexual Abuse

Session #3 – November 4, 2021: Procedures – Disciplinary Issues

Session #4 – November 9, 2021: Protocol – Support Resources, Comprehensive Response, Communications

Session #5 – November 10, 2021:  Prevention – Employee and Student Training and Professional Development

Session #6 – November 11, 2021:  Overnight Care Best Practices and Case Study Review

Each Session includes 60 minutes of content and 15 minutes of participant discussion.
