Bystander Intervention Strategies in Violence Prevention

Experts looked at teen violence, bullying, and harassment. They taught parents how to help their teens build effective communication skills and “tried and true” bystander intervention strategies for violence prevention.

How Bystanders fit into the Equation

The panel expained the fundamentals of proactive violence prevention, how to model responsible behavior, and how to confidently intervene. They taught students how to inspire their peers to stop bullying on and off campus, and how to be active bystander.
