The COS Website may collect personally-identifiable information, such as your name, e-mail address and home or work address or telephone number. COS also may collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests, and favorites.
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is collected automatically by COS. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring Website addresses. This information is used by COS for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the COS Website.

COS keeps track of the pages and portals our customers visit within COS, in order to determine what COS services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within COS to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

The COS manages permission for e-mailing lists for our supporters and patrons. The COS does not rent, sell or broker e-mail lists or personal information. The COS does not support spamming. The COS services are designed to be 100% permission-based and our patrons all subscribe to that model. We support confirmed opt-in/out features. Messages generated by our systems have valid headers and our customers are encouraged to utilize our opt-out features in all their mailings if they do not wish to receive correspondence from COS.
