Meet Bianca Schnarr

Bianca received her master’s from The University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences: Psychoactive Pharmaceutical Investigation. During her graduate program, she conducted research for the Banks lab at UW-Madison on the anti-inflammatory, neuroplastic, and anxiolytic effects of psychedelic compounds, such as psilocybin in pre-clinical models. She also holds a dual bachelor’s in Biochemistry and plant biology, with a certificate in medicinal and economic plants from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
Bianca is an adjunct Instructor for Thomas Jefferson University’s Institute of Emerging Health Professions Medical Cannabis Science and Business master’s program and Hudson County Community College’s Cannabis Studies associate’s program. Additionally, she is a cultivation instructor for NJ Cannabis Certified and the CEO of a consulting company, Reaffirm LLC.
Bianca writes for The Psychedelic Pulse, a small online psychedelic news publication, and is an organizer for the University of Pennsylvania’s, Penn Psychedelic Collaborative. Her work focuses on the cultivation, ethnobotany, pharmacology, phenomenology, phytochemical analysis, and clinical application of plant-derived compounds with therapeutic potential, focusing on those with psychoactive properties.
