Amy McKiernan is a passionate advocate for survivors of sexual assault, bringing both lived experience and deep empathy to her work. She courageously shares her personal journey of sexual assault and healing to inspire others, grounded in her belief that survivors deserve more than survival—they deserve to overcome, reclaim their power and their lives.

Amy is the author of More Than a Survivor: Eight Keys to Overcoming Sexual Assault and Finding a Path to Living a Fulfilled Life. Written with compassion and hope, the book offers gentle yet transformative guidance through eight empowering principles designed to help survivors reclaim their stories, rebuild confidence, and cultivate lives rooted in love, authenticity, and peace. A strong believer in honoring every voice, Amy wrote this book to ensure survivors feel seen, heard, and supported.

Professionally, Amy has built a successful career in Early Childhood Education, where she has consistently focused on nurturing healthy, positive environments for both children and adults. As the Director of Employee Relations for five early learning schools, she is recognized for her strengths in team building, collaborative problem-solving, and empathetic communication—skills that closely mirror the heart of her advocacy work. Through both her professional leadership and her personal mission, Amy empowers others to redefine their narratives and move forward with strength and hope.
