Bob Solomon is a Clinical Professor of Law and Co-Chair of UCI Center for the Study of Cannabis at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Solomon is a former legal services attorney and clinical teacher at Yale Law School, where he started the Community and Economic Development Clinic. From 1999-2002, Solomon served as the Interim Executive director of the Housing Authority of the City of New Haven and as the Chair of the Board of Directors. As co-director of the UCI Center for the Study of Cannabis, Solomon taught The Law of Cannabis, a wide-ranging law school course dealing with the medical, sociological, organizational, banking, and tax issues surrounding the legalization of cannabis. His current interests include the issue of reparations and equity programs in the cannabis industry.
