Charlotte Anderson is a mental health professional specializing in the intersection of trauma,mental health care, and well-being, specifically as it pertains to adolescents, their families, and the professionals who support them. Many factors contribute to who we are, what we do, how we feel about ourselves, and how we relate to the people in our lives. Charlotte works with clients to understand and change the ways that biology, past experiences, family influences, and strong emotions work together to impact actions, relationships, sense of self, and safety.

Throughout her career, Charlotte has years of working with adolescents and young adults experiencing behavioral health problems and crises, as well as the families and professionals helping them. She has training and expertise in adolescent development and psychology as well as family dynamics and trauma. Charlotte’s clinical training includes Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Trauma Informed CBT, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. She is a certified trainer through both the Child Trauma Academy and SAMHSA’s Trauma Informed Care Program, as well as adjunct faculty at Villanova University’s Graduate Counseling Program. Currently in private practice, Charlotte is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist with experience working and living with people who are gender expensive and neurodiverse.
