Krista thrives on the questions that make people squirm a little—the ones about parenting, mental health, and growing up that don’t have easy answers but unlock the conversations that matter most. She’s built her career on turning uncomfortable truths into moments of genuine connection and deeper understanding.
Known for her highly interactive and engaging presentation style, Krista transforms traditional workshops into dynamic experiences that keep audiences actively involved and energized. Krista’s inclusive and trauma-informed programs feature hands-on activities, real-world scenarios, and collaborative problem-solving that ensure every participant leaves with practical tools they can immediately implement.
Krista Dhruv, LCSW-C, has more than 25 years of transformative leadership in both mental health and educational settings. She currently serves as Executive Director of Counseling and Wellness at Gettysburg College. Her extensive background includes two decades in independent schools, where she co-created a nationally recognized parent education program, developed social-emotional learning curricula for grades 6-12, and delivered countless workshops and presentations to students, families, and faculty. She also maintains a clinical private practice in her hometown of Baltimore. With expertise spanning adolescent risk taking, substance use, healthy relationships. senior transitions and more, Krista has guided thousands of students, families, and educators through the complex landscape of adolescent and young adult development.
