Patti Feuereisen, Ph.D., a psychotherapist in private practice in Brooklyn, New York, is a pioneer in the treatment of sexual abuse, particularly in treating adolescent girls and young women. She is the founder of Girlthrive the non-profit thrivership fund honoring teen girls and young women who have survived sexual abuse. As a leading expert, for over 35 years “Dr. Patti” has helped girls find their voices, heal, and speak their truth changing the culture of sexual abuse across the world as she continues training clinical, educational, medical, and legal staff across the country. She is author of the groundbreaking book “Invisible Girls: Speaking The Truth About Sexual Abuse” now in its 3rd edition. Her website, Invisible Girls Thrive, is an international resource for young female sex abuse survivors.
